Diane Fanucchi — freelance copywriter, content writer, creative writer

I have been in love with words my whole life, first as a reader, then as a writer. I think my life-long calling as a writer began with my love of reading. By reading, I learned things, felt connected to other human beings, and realized that I was not alone in my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and sensibilities, even if it seemed so in my immediate world. I wanted to do that for others — to give them that knowledge, connection, sense of belonging and understanding.

I began my writing career as a poet and creative nonfiction writer and have spent many years polishing my craft, giving careful attention to every detail of language and expression.

Now I offer those same skills to business clients, using my facility with words to help them convey their knowledge, experience and personality, present their best professional image, and cultivate long term relationships, with their former, present and future clients and colleagues.

Education — Studied English and creative writing at Mills College in Oakland CA, and Cal Poly, SLO. B.A. in English/creative writing with a minor in psychology from Cal Poly in 1999.

Studied copywriting and content writing with AWAI and Carol Tice’s freelance writer’s den.

Professional Affiliations — NAIWE member, AWAI member, Carol Tice’s freelance writer’s den member
